This is a UE4 level I've been working on in my free time for the past few weeks, One of the objectives of this was to get better at realistic lighting and composition in UE4, I'm working on a few alternative lighting setups as well and will post that in the next couple of days.
All of the tileable textures and foliage textures used here were created entirely in Substance Designer, Unique assets like the car were Textured in Substance Painter.
Used one modular rock for this environment, Textured in-engine using tileable textures and an upwards-facing normals mask generated in realtime, To allow for rotating the rock while maintaining believable snow layering.
All assets and materials used here were created by me, No Megascans or other asset/texture packs were used.
